If they were bad Pokemon they wouldn't have been used on finalists teams. They were picked because they were a good choice in that format. Players weren't using them because of "muh bros" or whatever, they were literally just choosing the best mon for the job.
Plus those "bad" Pokemon you picked are not even terrible. Moltres is a strong special attacker with 2 good STABs, although now it's really just the poor man's CharY. Snorlax was king of Gen2 OU. Toxicroak was OU last gen thanks to rain and Bronzong was fucking everywhere gen4. Escavalier and Rhyperior have always been decently common in Doubles. Gothitelle has been good since Shadow Tag was released, and was used by the top ranked player in OU. Shedinja is a common sight in Ubers given that it can outright wall a bunch of legendary shit.
The fact that you spout off these things without realizing that those were different formats with different restrictions on Pokemon (case in point, Musharna was everywhere early Gen-5 but disappeared once Cress came back) just shows how little you know. These are Pokemon picked for how well they can fit on a team, this is the complete opposite of Karen.
