Barry Pastoria fight was a breeze. Threat the Gyarados plowed through the Gym and Crasher Wake's Gyarados.
Leafeon took out the Quagsire.
Then Gyarados Intimidated his Floatzel. Being insanely bulky, I hit it with 3 Leers before Threat was crit'ed with a Crunch.
Swapped in Luxor and used Fly. Missed the Fly and got hit with a Crunch that lowered my SpDef. I KNEW it carried some Ice-type move, so I swapped out into Houndoom and ate up the Ice Fang.
Now I was sitting there debating whether or not I should heal the Drifblim and potentially live a Brine from Floatzel, or go straight for the Thunder Fang I just taught Thorn before entering the Gym. I wasn't confident that the Thunder Fang would kill, but was positive a STAB Fly would kill a -3 Defense Floatzel.
Took the risk and heal Luxor, Thorn took the Brine and lived on 5 HP. Switched out to Luxor, took the Brine, used Fly and one shot the Floatzel.
Then caught Quagsire in the Great Marsh. I think I'm gonna grind Index and Marsha before hitting Route 212. Also, I forgot to include the Bibarel in my templates, she's just there as an HM Slave.
It could have gone worse.
