Z moves are mostly automatically converted with some exceptions. Their Z power is based directly on their regular power (see pic related). Return is treated as having 0 BP and therefore has 100 BP as a Z-move, potentially being weaker.

If you have HP ice, for example does it become Max Hailstorm because the move deals ice damage when you select it? Does it become Max Strike because the base move is normal-type? Or does it have the secondary effect of Max Strike but do ice-type damage?
