I get it, they're the most famous and iconic Pokemon, but the anime has never been this egregious with it. Episode after episode of getting beat over the head with how incredible Pikachu and Charizard are when there are over 1000 fucking Pokemon they could use. It's wasteful. This series is really starting to piss me off, which sucks after it made such a good first impression.
