I legit just duped a bunch of rare candies and starter solo'd it, it's fucking terrible design for as uperboss to be a stat check grinding fest instead of being following the game's level curve. Between this and the legendary dogs I found the game more tedious than RB even if they improved the battle system. Im burned out now on Pokemon, might skip gen 3
