The aztecs didn't have real warefare: it was all prearranged in conflicts called "Flower Wars", since the aztecs were the dominant power and nobody dared to actually fight them, they set up battles every so often with neighboring "nations" (The aztecs and the surrounding people operated on a system not unlike greek city states), so that way the aztecs would have enemy war prisoners for human sacrifice.
