Grimer are smaller and more concentrated, if that is a word to describe them, than a Muk. It also has a smaller mouth. It always have two arm ready to grab something. These alone distinguish both Pokemon despite both being a slime. Garbodor is still a giant trashbag and whatever you think its clever design, I still see it more repulsing because it's literally a walking trash bag or crap if you don't crew your corn.
