Interesting hook at the end. Good to see the plot progressing. While I don't fulling agree that the narrative was stalling, it did seem to want to do some world building-esque stuff without exploring them beyond surface level, so I can see why it seemed like there was simultaneously a lot but not much happening story wise.

Lovely little update, and cute art as always! Like the dynamic of the doting mother and the worried but reassuring father, Kartanon's lucky he has good parents. Mom asking about the existence of pokemon move tutors so Kartanon can learn healing moves was funny in an adorable way. The physiological explanation for his sturdiness is interesting, I like stuff like that. Also funny that doctors there aren't prescribing him pain killers but the doctors treating Kurt went ahead and gave him the good shit, fun seeing little differences like that.
