>>48737734I am surprised the thread is still up, but this suits me nicely, as I meant to post a continuation. This is my team after possessing the secondary rival, fought immediately after the player overcomes the Champion or around that general timeframe if a six-Trainer gauntlet is imbalanced.
>Hatterene>Mimikyu>Zoroark>Malamar>Toxtricity>G-SlowkingMimikyu, Hatterene, and Zoroark are holdovers from the secondary rival's normal team, which is based on fraudulence / being counterfeit. Hatenna was attracted to her because she is relatively empty inside.
Which is only natural, because she is a living doll that I, in my infinite wisdom, created to get close to you and the Professor. To what aim I can no longer recall. After being defeated, my only recourse is to use Malamar as an intermediary and seize control of my doll for a rematch. En guard.
The theme of my original team is clearly non-Water-type oceanic life with an Eldritch Horror bent. I call it the Sargasso Sea. I want to give off the aesthetic of arriving at a faraway island that may or may not exist after being displaced while faring along a treacherous sea in the middle of a storm. An island devoid of human contact, civility, reason, and hope, where everything is brutal and twisted. An island filled with ghosts and twisted things.
The sea in a different dimension: Sargasso. While the fantastically brutal Pallosand, unfortunately, has no use, my secondary assault on the player features Toxtricity, perhaps representing a lighthouse. An evil light that drew a desperate sailor to a desolate shore. If Dynamaxing is a thing, which it probably won't be, Toxtricity will, in fact, G-Max.
When I am felled, once again, my spirit will depart from this frigid waifu's coil, and she will be consigned to a dormant state, never to wake again, as a final fuck you to the player for having the audacity to impede my work.
Naturally, I will return in the next installment unscathed, as I am extraordinary.
