Every Pokemon game is easy by sheer virtue of them being RPGs where you can grind. You only thought they were hard because you were a retarded kid who didn't know what the fuck he was doing.
I recently replayed Pokemon Red on VC in two days or something. 8 Hours played or close to it. Just get a Nidoking and literally Trash the shit out of the game.
