>>43874701I think most everyone hates Rilla's drum. It's especially stupid considering GF could've had it beat it's chest like an actual gorilla to produce sound instead, which would feel more natural than pulling that drum out of nowhere.
For proportions, yeah, I'll admit it's human-like as well, but I think that's more okay for Rilla because it's based on an animal very close to humans, while Cinder and Intel are not. I guess you could tie it into the dislike for humanoid/"character" starters.
Another thing it could very well be is a whole "fan of the underdog" kinda thing, considering that Cinderace and Inteleon are clearly more popular (especially with fan-artists) than Rilla, so a chunk of people prefer it over them.
