It needs way more content. The game is just a huge grind of fighting gyms over and over and over again to get stronger to challenge the next gym. Of course I trivialized the game with Kenya, but that just shows you how well balanced CC is.
CC is only really good for stadium and getting Kanto and Johto pokemon to transfer, an actual playthrough can get very dull fast.
