The only way to have a pure unaltered game is to literally play with yourself. Once you open yourself up to trading, then you will always run the risk of having an STD. The condom literally comes off when you exchange pokemon with others. People can create tampered with pokemon and you will never know about it, it's impossible. You purists are better off playing alone or in a literal circle jerk where you check each others progress 24/7.
