This series is fucking dead and buying or not-buying the game won't matter, development is too tied into the global pokemon machine to a point where we'll never get a mainline release with proper time and care put into it.
They're going to be rushed to make sure release times with anime, merch and other tie-ins, and our purchase won't affect that at all.
Gonna buy it to just play online with some friends on Switch for a bit, then I'll move on. Fuck it.
And this is coming from someone who at least didn't buy the abortion that was LGPE.
