I have a living form dex (although I didn't bother with genders, just the ones classified as unique forms), and I also tried to get as much as possible with my own OT, and most of them caught in as early a gen as possible.
It was a pretty fun task that took up a few months of lockdown, and since then its been fairly easy to maintain when new games drop or a new method of getting an OT is added (like the BDSP Jirachi, or getting all of the Vivillons via GO).
