Gallade has been getting nothing meaningful (aside from its megaevo, but that was removed so rip) since it was introduced while everything around it was buffed each subsequent gen (Lucario getting NP, one of the strongest megaevos and Meteor Mash, Gardevoir becoming part Fairy, Medicham getting a buffed HJK in gen 5 just to pick some examples of things Gallade is usually compared to). Meanwhile he still has garbage-tier abilities, not a single broken move ala Boomburst Exploud and no small BST buff.
And we've seen multiple times how broken abilities can save shitmons from demise (Drought Torkoal, Drizzle Pelipper, Prankster Sableye, and especially Speed Boost Blaziken off the top of my head).
Our only hope is that GF gets its shit together and fill Gallade's remaining ability slot with something worthwhile next gen.
