I love cross-generational pokemon, both evolutions and babies (pre evolutions). They were the beautiful way to connect different generations of Pokemon and I really miss them. I understand that nowadays people are more into Mega evolutions or Alola forms but nothing (at least for me) can replace good old evolutions and pre evolutions.
I also miss the days when we had at least 100 new pokemon per generation.
It's a pity that features like cross- generational (except eeeveelutions) and 100+ new pokemon will most likely never return.
