>>49142023>RivalFirst and unfortunately last time I'm covering a rival fight.
The main problem in this fight is his Shadow Tag Chandelure and, well, the AI loves to swap around a bunch. Basically, if you have a move to kill the AI and they have a mon that resists it, they will almost always switch to it. Alolan Muk was a godsend, walling a lot of his team or landing Toxics/Knock Offs as he swapped in and out of the Chandelure. I just had to be careful bringing Alolan Ninetales on his Garchomp or Metagross since Chandelure would 100% come in on those if I actually attacked with them...was prepared to sack something here, but one time he brought the Chandelure in it just stayed and died to Knock Off, so that's cool too.
>Zekrom/ReshiramAnd now for a potentially very deadly series of tag fights with the rival heading into the story resolution of this game...expecting a few deaths here.
Thankfully, the first fight isn't bad. Mega Altaria resists both of their main STABs and launches Hyper Voice to kill Zekrom in 3 hits, coincidentally the same amount of time it takes for them to slaughter the rival's team. Afterwards, Toxic + Protect stalling the Reshiram is simple enough.
>>49142451Nice, will check out.
And we'll see about that lol
>>49143207You could use something like a double/triple exp code. Might feel a bit more natural than just hacking in candies.
>>49143340Ayy, going deathless through Lenora herself (F to the Fluff tho) is a sight to see. Not cheese at all, the bitch shouldn't be whipping shit like double Intimidate and a full team of normal types while you're still using midstage shitmons, it's just strategy.
And yeah, after the fourth gym the game feels a lot easier and simpler to adapt to. I have had to plan each fight pretty thoroughly, though, and it helps I've done Radical Red before with this kind of wacky AI.
>long is the grindingZero time, that's the beauty of Sandbox mode. Could not imagine this run without it.
>>49143462Good luck anon!
