I thought Kunoichi, even as a Frogadier, would have just enough defences to tank Rock Tomb when Grant's Tyrunt was in the red, but evidently I was mistaken. Sending Hindenburg or Autumn out in her place in the wake of a Rock Tomb would have been suicide, Po was almost dead from a Stomp paraflinch, and it occurred to me all too late that Sandile resisted Rock. You pay the price for your mistakes.
Losing my goddamn starter couldn't have been more bitter, but my grim optimism paid off when I first entered the cave. My luck in Reflection Cave could not have been better - Sableye is an immediate addition to my team in the wake of Kunoichi's loss. Keen Eye would have been a hell of a lot better stall, but beggars can't be choosers.
It's a hard hit to take...but I have no choice but to keep on trucking.
