Actually, WHY do people still treat magikarp as jokes, again? Yeah they're a bunch of shitters in the wild, but people should've figured out by now that the stress of having it battle and training it diligently can net you a badass semi-dragon in the long run.
A fucking PSEUDO-DRAGON, and the starting stage is a piss-easy, dirt-cheap, risk-free catch.
Why doesn't every preschooler start off with a Magikarp *just* in case they can get a badass ace down the line? It's worth a fucking try, you'd think.
