I mean, she and Gladion were more proactive in the anime by trying to save Lusamine alone, while PokeSpe Lillie is okay with someone (mostly Moon) else solving her problems.
I know, I know. Kusaka probably has some "kind of plan" to get Z-Lillie, but giving his track record of making the MCs the most important and competent people in the plot and shoving the side characters aside I would be lying if I said I'm not worried.
