Pokémon has an incredibly wide fanbase and the size of dissenters isn’t enough to sway daddy TCPi to shovel a bigger budget into what will sell like hotcakes regardless of if it’s good.
You may as well buy used / pirate if you’re that intent on gypping GF, or just walk away from the series while it’s at its lowest and probably could go lower over time.
Personally I’m gonna buy it because I always enjoy playing a limited in game team selection, and although I play this game autistically and hate how the series has dived since gen 5 I can look past supporting lazy developers when I see new Pokémon designs and battle mechanics, moves, abilities for competitive, not to mention I have a job and expendable income.
