Basically, since the golem-spirit harmony represents "mastering" the usage of the gift responsibly, it would make sense that getting both mons should empower the golem; and that could be represented by cores.
Also, I really think 4chan thread is the worst place to discuss plot concepts. People come here to post short opinions, and we've made the plots obscenely long. Every submission should approach each of the 26 points to even be eligible. So it boils down to:
