At least pokemon's fanbase isnt as toxic as them and they still haven't had a good movie since return of the jedi.
Pokemon even at it's worst (you decide which gen, I'm not going down that road) is somehow still fun.
Pokemon fans like us still have good games and content from past installments, media plus the mods and content created by the fans themselves. Pokemon fans even welecome newer generations of fans to the series much more than star wars' fanbase. And to top it off, Pokemon is also the biggest media franchise in the world.
Star Wars fans on the otherhand fuck up sales, scare away newer generations of fans away from the series, hasn't had a good movie since return of the jedi and is failing in the sales department. They fail in where pokemon succeeds.
