『Zoroark Takes The Stage!』
As the Gen V rep that never was, Zoroark along with their Zorua child bring their trickster tactics as well as some theatrical flair to the Smash landscape, boasting a style full of misdirection, exploitation and Kabuki callbacks.
>Neutral Special: Parental Bond
While Zorua normally acts as an assist to Zoroark's Smashes, tilts and aerials, it has the option to act as a Nana/Luma style partner character aiding its parent by keeping physical pressure on the opponent via low hits that can shieldstab, small grabs to disrupt defensive play and even a diminutive Flamethrower that sets a damage-over-time zone. Being as small as it is, Zorua doesn't have much HP and can easily be knocked out, even in a single hit by some stronger moves! If KO'd on stage and at close range, it uses Memento and drops the attacker's launching power as a form of vengeance. Ranged attackers are a bit too far for the little one to reach though. When its HP are depleted on land it will eventually get back to its feet and rejoin Zoroark but if it falls, the nest stays empty until Zoroark does too so be sure to be a good parent and take care of your kid.
>Side Special: Switcheroo
A bit of a departure from the canon move, this special involves Zoroark throwing an Inari mask either at a straight pitch, a gentle curve or a lazy, high lob. If the opponent is hit by the mask, Zoroark will swap positions with them making for a convenient way to get around dangerous attacks, aid their recovery or hinder their opponents'. The mask can be reflected but not shielded as it counts as a grab upon hit. It goes for a while for before failing so the user has to be careful. The move refreshes once the mask hits an opponent, the ground or goes off-screen while Zoroark's on the ground but you only get one chance in the air.
>Down Special: Night Daze
In the Pokemon games, this move has a chance of lowering accuracy which wouldn't translate well to Smash [cont.]
