It's based on an Electric Flame Scallop.
I wanted to make an conventional Fakemon in both typing and basis. When most people think of a Fire/Electric type they think of a fast offensive Pokemon, mammy even reptilian or mammalian. But I went with this idea, because it better reflects the real world. Instead of having a random object or animal that can shoot electricity and fire, I based on an animal that at least in name can do both. It has 3 different methods of defense. It first set's it's shell on fire, it's second method is rapidly flashing the color patterns in it's shell like a disco ball, it's final line of defense is shocking it's foe with electricity it builds up with in it's body.
It can also live pretty much anywhere.
