Okay so I did some research of the new Emblem system and it seems you will get free pulls each day for the Medals in the Gacha (doesn't say how much yet) assuming we could get 30 that would make this all fair, so you wouldn't need to waste your pulls on this

The Medals gives a very tiny boost to a stat but also decreases something like Natures in the main line Pokémon games

I think it doesn't matter honestly, its like upgrading your item from level 20 to 30
