>>50651831We never would've gotten an "Africa" region, it's way too big in comparison, and would've drawn a lot of ire for reducing such a huge area with a myriad of different cultures into one region. Imagine if instead of getting Kalos, Galar, and Pokespain, we got 1 Pokemon Europe region and cringely tried to force French, German, Spanish, and English culture into one cohesive world. It wouldn't have worked. If we do enter Africa, we'll probably get an Egypt Region (Expect Yu-Gi-Oh references) or a Madagascar region (Secluded from the rest of Africa with plenty of potential for exotic/tropical mons.
