Routes 24, 25, 5, and 6 encounters didn't yield a grass type for Magikarp. Bad luck on my part, I went on to defeat Surge. By this time, I now had a Gyarados.
Route 10 had a chance of getting Voltorb, but encountered Ekans. Rock Tunnel I encountered Zubat AGAIN, so no Geodude/Onix.
Skip Route 8 and go to Celedon. For my Celedon encounter I decided to choose a Game Corner mon instead of Eevee. I WAS going to get Abra, but then I would have needed to catch Venonat or Gastly. Gastly isn't bad, but that would have meant I would need to catch a Ground or Psychic type (Which couldn't get Diglett because of Dugtrio ignored my Repel in Diglett's Cave).
So I got Scyther, then immediately remembered I could have picked up a Hitmonlee after Gastly. But whatever.
Defeat Erika, go to Route 22 for a chance at a Flying type, no luck. Then Route 2, no luck. Route 3 is when I picked up Spearow, went to Saffron and got Hitmonlee, went to Fuschia and got the Soul Badge.
I wanted to nab a Pidgey toget an Electric type at the Power Plant, but Routes 15, 14, 13, 12 had Oddish. Decide to get a Drowzee instead, but encountered Ekans. THEN I remembered I skipped Route 8 and finally got Pidgey.
Oh yeah, Hitmonlee died in Koga's Gym BUT Scyther motherfuckin' evolved. Now I'm on my way to Saffron.
