This is Version 2.0 of The True Color of the Moon. Thank you all for your (honest) feedback on the game. Even though it's laughably bad, I'm glad it's at least not boring! Here's a list of what's new:
-No more Sagemons. I replaced the Starters with a system that I hope you'll like.
--Fixed the trainers in the Haunted Mountain.
-Fixed HMs - they no longer require Badges to use.
--The ice statue in the Back Alley no longer causes it to snow indoors (or anywhere else).
-Added Yes/No option to Lass Daiya and Gym Leader Ezekiel. Fixed the conditional branch on Daiya.
--Added a Nurse and a Doctor Merchant to the Sunken Forest, Forgotten Valley, and Haunted Mountain in order to decrease backtracking. The Merchant now sells all varieties of Repels, the Lucky Egg, the EXP Share, and MooMoo Milk. (Also added the Merchant to the Abandoned Pass)
-There is now an alternate walking path to the Bitter Village, if you don't want to SURF/WATERFALL it.
--I tried to make Sage Nettor's Casino puzzle more obvious.
-Fixed SCALD's distribution.
-Fixed the bridges in Pearl's gym.
After spending most of the day trying to create my own starters, I failed horribly and decided to implement the other mechanism. You can witness my horrible attempts at spriting in the Graphics folder.
If there's no ridiculous bugs in this version, it'll probably be the last one I release. Remember, this is my first RPGMaker XP game, and I've learned a lot from doing it. I'd like to focus on a game that's less "grimdark", "creepypasta", and "edgy" this time (Though making a horrible creepypasta pokemon game was ridiculously fun).
If you want to give me ideas on the next game, I'd love to hear them!
