Long answer: Square shiny (really should be diamond but whatever) are supposed to be a 1/16 chance type of shiny you can only get from the wild / raids. Eggs would only give star shiny. But they messed up how they implemented it so instead of 1/16 chance of square, its something like 1/4056 chance of STARS in the wild, all others are square.
