So I got a purple beam from the Dappling Grove den, saved, caught a Roselia, and checked my seed. Restarted without saving so the purple beam Roselia is still up when I load the game.
It looks like I'll have a shiny Gmax Appletun coming up in under a 1000 frames which doesn't seem that bad considering shiny rates (unless I'm somehow wrong). I went into an online battle, forfeited, and then went to the home menu and started advancing my game one day at a time (November 18th 2022 should be my target) but when I got to August 2020 the game force closed.
So I was to practice and fool around a little bit with other seeds while also not losing this Appletun seed.
