>>51406503I skipped them in favor of Battle Network as a kid. I downloaded a Japanese rom of Zero a few months before it released in the US, thought it was too damn hard. Tried again when the English release came out, ended up feeling the same, and never got back around to playing them until a decade or so later. I always prefered X over Zero anyway, and Battle Network was different enough to have its own appeal, like Legends before it.
