There's something about Lickitung that's just so endearing, I can't help but look at it's weird, pink, body, and start picturing or daydreaming about it waddling through a jungle and gobbling up the hanging tropical fruit as it goes about it's day. It's definitely a very interesting creature.
Having a look at the other single stage Pokemon:

Girafarig is just really fuckin' neat. They're psychic, they're normal, so they've got a good combination of that unconventional anatomy allowed by Psychic-Typing, but with a little bit of 'boring animal' provided by Normal-Typing.
