First time ever seeing it was me watching Saturday morning TV with my grandmother as a kid, and I specifically remember it was the racing episode where Ash rides on a Rapidash. Was the tightest shit and I immediately started watching. Then I got introduced to Pokemon cards by one of my friends and asked to get a few packs.
I remember seeing all the kids playing Pokemon on their Gameboys, asked my mother for it, she told me to do some sports, I did, she got me the Gameboy and Pokemon Blue. Think that's where I fully latched on.
