I'm not a huge fan of ORAS, probably my least favorite games in the franchise but I need to play through it in order to complete my pokedex (easiest it's been together with X/Y)
I'm doing a shiny run as a way to make it more fun along with some other rules. It's a sort of sequel run of X I did last year (pic related)
Dexnav was meant for shiny hunting and it immensely improves a game that I generally dislike.
That said I caught a shiny Zigzag as a temporary HM slave, I was itching to try the dexnav some more and I got him in 10 encounters (Pooch was 36)
