>>54523106You are already playing an unofficial meta that is 'optimized' by fans to sort Mons in to categories of relative strength. If you don't like the relative strength of the tier you are playing then there are literally dozens of alternative tiers and formats that exist for this reason.
Also this isn't even new tech, Typeless Shedinja as a gimmick has been around forever - in both Smogon and VGC. It's counters are well known and explored. If you're playing in a tier that permits Typeless Shedinja, then you bring a situational counter (weather/rocks/status) or don't and accept that you're hard countered by a gimmick - safe in the knowledge that they still probably have a pretty low win rate because it is just that - a gimmick.
