Wailord is literally a balloon. My guess is, if you try to slice it, it just pops, leaving you with a really wide membrane that you could maybe slice and deep-fry to get Wailord chips.
I haven't ever had turtle stew so I can't tell how Squirtle would taste. Probably a more watery texture of it.
I like to imagine they sometimes serve living Slurpuff. Like literally they deliver a platter with a Slurpuff sitting on it, and they just hand you a spoon.
