>>55057308the dlc adds a time loop at the ass end of the game where someone implied to be the player met sada/turo at the kitakami crystal pool and gave them briar's book that they use to perfect the time machine, which sets in motion the game's events ending with terapagos pulling a past version of sada/turo to the kitakami crystal pool and exchanging briar's book for the scarlet/violet book then getting kicked back to the main menu where the book returns. it doesn't answer anything and it wasn't implied in the base game. either they're cooking another followup or this got handed off to another writer. they managed to make area zero lame in the finale quest as well, so the one thing holding gen 9 up other than the characters was ruined.
