You didn't get the comparison, and faithful optimism isn't really a good when it comes to nu-Gamefreak, champions of cut corners, incompetence, and laziness.
We'll lap it up for a few days upon release, but as the hype settles we'll quickly come to terms with facts. Sword and Shield will be painfully average, just like Gens 6 and 7.
