>>48719321so, I was going to reply to this whole thing, but it's so fucking stupid that I refuse, I would need a 2000 character post for every bit of retard juice dripped on your post
but out of everything, one thing needs to be addressed
>Having to grind does not equal contentit's not just having to grind
the exp share system is not at all tuned for this game
so unless I just keep switching out my teams for new Pokemon, I'm going to be way stronger than everything around me because there's so much fucking EXP going around vs what is expected and designed
fuck, I carry three Pokemon that I actually use, and between the three of them alone, I have double the experience available for the same amount of fights, let alone the other three I don't bother with
there are Pokemon on my team that I've used once and are entirely up to speed if I need them, but I've never needed them and I've never had to fucking interact with them -- previously, I'd have them out front and then swap at the start which is a risk, I'd have half the experience for the fight, I'd have to consider if the Pokemon is worth going through the effort for or not, etc, I'd have to actually make decisions for how I spend my time vs just pressing A with actually no risk
the whole point of a game involves player agency and the possibility of not winning, even if it's slim
BDSP fucks that up completely
I have fought exactly one battle so far in the entire game so far where I was at risk of losing (or even at risk of being inconvenienced), and even Pokemon Y, which was absurdly easy, didn't feel like this
