>>51336206>how do I know which packs to buy? Look up set lists and see which cards/Pokemon you want. If you're actually playing the game, usually the packs from the current block are safe bets
>Are all cards made by a single company? Yes
I don't care about their monetary value, just want to collect pokemon.
Based
I've seen packs having different names such as, "shinning fates", "darkness ablaze" etc what is the differences between all these packs?
There are different cards in each one. So for example, if you look at the bottom left symbol on each card, you'll be able to see what set each card comes from. The Machamp comes from Astral Radiance, and the Charizard comes from Darkness Ablaze. Meaning if you open packs of Darkness Ablaze, you won't be able to get that specific Machamp V. And if you open Astral Radiance, you won't be able to get that specific Charizard Vmax. Make sense? Again, look up individual set lists and see which set looks the most appealing to you personally. But i mean you said you just want to collect Pokemon so why not just choose any set and just start opening? Just be careful because pack opening is dangerous in that you can get hooked on a dopamine rush pretty easily. And next thing you know you've preordered 4 marked up Charizard UPCs from 4 different online shops...
