Base 150 fire attack as a signature move sounds great but with base 91 power, it is very underwhelming. This isn't even considering that he has to be hit with a PHYSICAL move and special attacks won't trigger it. Without this, he's a bulky, slow, mediocre special attacker with no sustain.
If shell trap made him basically use endure that turn or or if he had something like morning sun he'd be better. As it stands, he's a goofy mon with a horrible niche and little besides that.
