I've been on /vp/ since it's birth and genwars were everywhere for it's entire history. The truth is that genwars were fine. Back in the day when everyone was arguing over what the best gen was, it was really just a showing of how much everyone here fucking loved Pokemon.
Then SWSH came out and genwars have almost entirely died because Gen 8 is so fucking bad that there's no point in trying to figure out what the "worst" gen is, everyone knows by now.
I used to shit on Sinnoh like mad but looking back the games have a very obvious seal of quality that's totally fucking gone from the current gens.
Pokemon is dead and /vp/ is full of drones, there's nothing here for people who love Pokemon but aren't Pokecultists.
