Apparently it's only 90bp in later gens... embarrassing that it took this long to figure out. Karen was also scary but apparently her Houndoom didn't feel like using pursuit on a red health mon this time. Lance was.... requiring some luck, but I honestly doubt there are few pokemon in johto that can solo his team at a lower level. I had planned for gengar to do that with her punches... but Whitney's strategy works too since all the rollouts hit. I said I wasn't gonna do red again this gen, but since five team members survived Lance instead of just one, I think I'll go for it.
