According to the leak each gym has it's own kind of trial before the leader, so presumably Bea and Allister will have different trials to go through relating to their types.

There's 5 gyms on the map that look the same from the outside but with different colors. Those gyms are in 5 smaller towns. Then there's 3 major cities on the map which most likely have the 3 remaining gyms.
The gym of the Red City (the first one you find in the game) can be seen here. There's likely one in the Dragon City and London as well.
