The writing isn't always terrible as a whole, but when it comes to bianca... They just ruined her.
She was my favoirte character in the games, and i could really relate to her, but in the anime they threw all that away for a dumb bitch who just wants cute pokemon and is always crashing into people. That's litterally a running gag with her where she enters the episode by running into ash and he falls in water.
