>>28634369Look into pic related. Steam Up discards the energy, then Volcanion Jr. will send it to your benched Flareon EXs and Volcanion EXs.
You really shouldn't be running the Talonflames, and I feel like you'd be good to -1 Jolteon and -2 Flareon honestly. As far as Pokemon, here's what I personally run in my pure Fire type Volcanion/Steam Up deck:
>x4 Volcanion>x3 Volcanion EX>x1 Flareon EX>x1 Entei (Combat Blaze)>x2 Shaymin EX>x1 Hoopa EXI could, however, probably ditch Hoopa EX. I've got mixed feelings on that card.
>>28634420>>28634483That anon was right, look into Max Elixir, especially if you want to make a more aggressive deck.
>Let's say you have Volcanion Jr. and you want to hit 100 on turn 2 with Steam Artillery... start the game with it on your bench, use Max Elixir to attach a Fire energy, switch it in with Escape Rope or Float Stone, and then attach another Fire energy. Then, turn 2, you can attach the third Fire energy and attack.>This also stands true for Volcanion EX, Flareon EX, and Jolteon EX.>If you like Talonflame more than those options, I don't think you'd be too bad off by keeping x1 or x2 and then adjusting accordingly.Trainer cards you'll absolutely want to consider...
>x4 VS Seeker. Lets you reuse Supporter cards from your discard pile.>x4 Professor Sycamore. Discard your hand, then draw 7 cards. Best used in conjunction with Volcanion/Volcanion EX if possible, making the most out of energy you have to discard.>x2 N. Shuffling your hand and drawing cards equal to the amount of Prize Cards you still have on the table is pretty good when you're starting our, or when you're behind. This is also SUPER GOOD because if you mulligan a bunch trying to get Pokemon, you can pop N and both you and your opponent will reset to 6 cards. They won't have an advantage over you from the mulligan.I'd post my decklist, but I don't consider myself very good and it's missing a lot of important cards so I had to tweak it accordingly.
