I didn't realize that his team was changed so drastically. In RBG, his highest mon was a 43 Muk. In Yellow, it's a 50 Venomoth that knew Psychic and Leech Life.
That wouldn't have been a huge problem, but I had my party up to around level 36. Fourteen whole levels below.
Pinpo lived with 2 HP
Nyan (a Kadabra at the time) couldn't handle the Leech Life attacks (which healed the Vennonat)
Kiyoo could do only so much after many Special drops from Psychic.
And Rocket and Radix would have been one-shot
But our savior, Avalon came in and ate EVERYTHING DESPITE BEING 14 levels below.
