>>22596955>>22597036I use a Togekiss on my Doubles team, with Tailwind, Follow Me, Encore, and Air Slash. I love this thing to pieces, holy shit.
>Encoring Protect/Fake Out to make one foe dead weight while Air Slashing to immobilize the other>Encoring Sucker Punch then spamming Follow Me>Absorbing Follow Me Mach Punches like they ain't shit so its partner can keep on truckin'>Popping Tailwinds to support the team when opponents are Protecting/encored onto garbageTogetic definitely has the bulk advantage over Togekiss, but Togekiss' speed (only base 80, but leagues better than Togetic's base 40, obviously) gives it the chance to Encore trap any foe slower than it into a useless move, and after a Tailwind literally everything becomes its bitch.
Togetic may work well as a Status Spreader and Cleric as opposed to Togekiss' Supportive Asshole. Consider Roost, Heal Bell or Defog, Toxic or Thunder Wave, and Seismic Toss or Moonblast. Seismic Toss is the best offensive option because then, bar ghosts, you can hit everything for respectable damage (on average) despite wholly investing in bulk. But if you can't get Seismic Toss (I think it's a Gen III Tutor exclusive unless I've missed a memo) then Moonblast will have to do. Togetic may also have the bulk for a Nasty Plot + Baton Pass set, but you do you depending on your team.
Tailwind can be used for support, but Togetic's piss-poor speed means it would really only be for the benefit of its teammates. It also isn't as viable in Singles as it is in Doubles, so again, what works best would depend on what you're playing for and its teammates.
